Formative Search is seeking a Director of Origination with a debt infrastructure background to be based in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about becoming part of a rapidly growing organization with robust financial backing.Key Responsibilities
- Lead a deal team in structuring and/or lending transactions to generate fee income and establish sustainable margin income.
- Play an active, hands-on role in structuring, negotiating, conducting credit analysis, and managing documentation for relevant deals within these sectors until financial close is achieved.
- Maintain primary coverage for selected key clients and contribute to origination and execution of new finance transactions across diverse sectors.
- Lead an investment team which focuses on the development of infrastructure projects in APAC.
- A minimum of 15+ years in investing, financing, and delivering infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia.
- An undergraduate or Master's degree/MBA in financial economics, finance & banking, financial management, or other related fields.
- Experienced in diverse sectors such as renewable power (wind, solar, batteries, nature-based solutions, etc.), digital infrastructure, EV/transportation, logistics, etc.
- Highly experienced in origination & execution, capital raising, debt project finance, mezzanine financing, etc.
- Possess strong credit and negotiation skills, and has existing client network with infrastructure funds.
- Experience in Indonesia or Vietnam as focus markets would be highly valued.
