This company has shareholders and investors from Sovereign Institutions and are active within Energy, Power, Transport & Logistics, Telecoms, Water, Waste and Social Infrastructure.
We are supporting the hiring of an Investment Manager which can be based in either Bahrain or Asia. The successful candidate will have an existing knowledge of the Renewable Energy & Power markets in Asia, and experience in the Origination and Execution of transactions in the region. The investment Manager will have support from the team in Bahrain but will be able to work independently to build the companies presence in Asia.

Source and Assess Investment Opportunities
Monitor Investment and Write Investment Recommendations
Evaluate the exit strategy
Monitor and review analysts and associates’ work
Develop a network of contacts through deal negotiations, due diligence activities
Attend industry conferences and fund sponsor meetings
Utilize network to identify investment opportunities that meet the criteria of the fund within its mandate
Identify new relationships and attend forums and conferences to build on existing network
Develop expertise in specific industry sectors and keep updated with market deals.
Appraise investment opportunities including conducting quantitative and qualitative due diligence
Analyse historical financial statements and create detailed financial models to assess the viability and optimal structure of an investment
Interpret the results of financial models and make appropriate recommendations to Investment Directors
Participate in the negotiation of deals and details of the terms of the deal.
From inception of the investment, monitor the progress of the investment in liaison with investment companies.
Perform various tasks related to the monitoring of investments, market research, internal requests and marketing efforts
Update senior management on significant events
Support the less experienced team members in negotiations, execution, and writing investment recommendations and general support to the team.
Write and/or review due diligence findings in a report
Evaluate exit strategy options, identify the best option, if applicable assess various buyers; if the exit strategy is through an IPO, ensure the requirements of an IPO are met.
Take the initiative to go to market including an investment bank or intermediary and identify the right advisors, agree on the terms and implement the exit strategy.
MBA in finance/CFA or relevant qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience in same profile#
