Senior Carbon Business Development (Japanese market), Low Carbon Energy Player
Formative Search is partnering with a Low Carbon Energy Player seeking for a Senior Professional to cover Carbon Business Development & Sales into the Japanese market. This role will be based in Singapore.
As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking for a senior professional to engage in business development and marketing of carbon credits to Japanese Corporates. These includes (but not limited to) Carbon Credits in CER,VER, GOs, RGGOs, RECs, and other voluntary carbon/environmental products to Corporates (Asia Pacific coverage).
The chosen applicant will be responsible for understanding the emission risks and sustainability challenges of these Corporates looking to decarbonize, collaborate with other support functions (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Operations, etc.) for proper due diligence and onboarding and offering bespoke product solutions to reduce their carbon footprint to aid them in achieving their decarbonization goals.
Requirements
You are a senior front-office professional in the energy/oil & gas markets keen to join the low carbon industry.
A self-starter with a strong commercial mind, you are able to communicate in Japanese and English fluently as you will communicating extensively with Japanese counterparties and covering the Japan market. This role is based in Singapore.
