Job Title: Finance Associate (Project Finance)
Location: Singapore
 
We are currently working with a leading US law firm who is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Finance Lawyer to join their team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in project finance in Singapore or overseas. The Partners are also willing to consider candidates with a broader finance or banking background.
 
The opportunity:

• The firm employs some of the leading partners in the region who will provide continuous guidance and mentoring
• The projects are primarily located in Asia Pacific but often go beyond
• The clients consist primarily of major developers/sponsors, host governments, and funders (commercial banks, export credit agencies and others)

Qualifications:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in project finance law
• The Partners are also willing to consider candidates with a broader finance or banking background
• Called in Singapore or the UK
• Strong understanding of the legal and commercial aspects of project finance transactions
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
