Formative Search is recruiting a VP for Project Finance to join a blue chip organisation that is ramping up its Renewable Energy portfolio across SE Asia. Based in Manila, you’ll lead financial structuring, debt raising, and M&A transactions across APAC while serving as the primary contact for all debt financing of our client’s renewables business growth in country. 

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial structuring, debt raising, and M&A transactions
• Manage bank, internal, and stakeholder interactions
• Supervise financial analysts on model development and cash flow valuations
• Oversee due diligence processes across internal and external teams
• Gather market intelligence on renewables, debt, and venture capital markets in the region
• Share knowledge across local, regional, and inter company teams
• Contribute to the company culture which is focused on growth and success

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance or Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy and project/debt finance
• Strong analytical abilities with mastery of financial modelling techniques for PF, Debt, & M&A transactions
• Proven track record working in fast-paced, cross-border environments, with a willingness to travel
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and stakeholder empathy while adapting quickly to new challenges
• Come with an international mindset and ability to navigate the local banking system in the Phillippines
