A leading Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) developer is seeking an experienced Treasury Operations Executive to join their team. The company supports multiple project SPVs across Japan and is looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage and administer project finance facility agreements with Japanese lenders.

About the Role
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring full compliance with financing documentation and maintaining strong relationships with lenders and key stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer project finance facility agreements with Japanese banks
• Manage drawdowns, repayments, debt service, and fee payments
• Monitor financial covenants and reporting obligations
• Oversee project cash flow waterfalls and reserve accounts
• Coordinate lender reporting and compliance certificates
• Liaise with lenders, agents, trustees, and internal teams
• Support financial close, refinancing, and amendments as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in treasury, project finance, or banking
• Direct experience with Japanese project finance documentation
• Native-level Japanese and working English proficiency
• Strong understanding of cash flow management and SPV structures
• High attention to detail and strong stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects
• Prior exposure to working within project or portfolio companies (SPVs)
