A leading global infrastructure investor is seeking a senior advisor to support the development of a new platform focused on gas-to-power, LNG, and low-carbon solutions across Asia.

This role will begin as a strategic advisory mandate, working closely with the investment team to identify, shape, and advance seed opportunities in the region. Subject to successful platform formation, the role is expected to transition into a full-time CEO or C-suite leadership position.

The Role
You will act as a strategic partner in the early-stage build-out of a new energy platform — helping to originate opportunities, assess assets, and bring together the key components required to establish a scalable regional business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate seed assets and platform opportunities across gas-to-power, LNG, and low-carbon value chains
• Provide strategic input on market entry, asset selection, and platform design
• Leverage network to originate proprietary opportunities and partnerships
• Support commercial structuring and early-stage deal development
• Engage with developers, operators, governments, and capital providers across the region
• Work closely with the investment team to shape the long-term vision and execution strategy
• Transition into an executive leadership role (CEO/C-suite) upon platform formation

Requirements

• Senior executive with deep experience across gas, LNG, and/or power infrastructure
• Strong track record in building, scaling, or operating energy platforms
• Deep network across Asia, including developers, utilities, and government stakeholders
• Experience in originating and executing complex energy transactions
• Commercially driven with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the appetite to build from early-stage through to scale
