Job description
The Head of Business Development will be based in Vietnam and responsible to create new business opportunities, assists in deployment of the company’s capital and the creation of potential partnerships.
Key Accountabilities:
Engage in the design of the local business development strategy
Lead origination and transactional processes while creating opportunities for new projects
Identify partnerships, joint development and or acquisition opportunities and determine whether they should be pursued
Lead transactional negotiations and negotiation of key project contracts
Construct financial models to be considered for negotiation and investment
Actively engage and collaborate with key external stakeholders; advisors, government agencies, municipal councils, major industrial companies, utilities providers etc
Keeping up to date with existing and new regulatory and legal frameworks for solar projects
Requirements:
Degree in finance or related fields with ideally 10 – 15 years of experiences in the renewable sector in particular Solar energy
Skilled in leading transactions, negotiations, financial modelling and leading due diligence
Possess a detailed knowledge of local regulatory and legal frameworks within the renewable space (planning, permits and environmental policy)
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
