Formative Search is partnering with an international renewable energy company to find a Project Execution Manager for their onshore wind portfolio in Vietnam. This is a senior, hands-on role covering the full project lifecycle — from late-stage development through FID, execution, and operational handover — with responsibility spanning project delivery, commercial structuring, stakeholder management, and team development. Strong performers will have a clear path to Project Director or Head of Project Execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Full accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and risk across the project lifecycle
• Lead all FID-enabling activities — technical design, procurement, permitting, financing, and commercial structuring
• Support or lead PPA and key commercial agreement negotiations; oversee land acquisition and permitting
• Coordinate stakeholders (utilities, authorities, lenders, contractors); ensure transparent governance and reporting
• Build and scale the project organisation from a lean setup to a fully resourced delivery team

Key Requirements

• End-to-end renewable energy PM experience from late-stage development through FID to delivery
• Senior accountable role (PM, Senior PM, or Project Director level)
• Proven EVN or comparable utility/offtaker negotiation experience
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead project teams
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English
• Large-scale EPC or capital-intensive infrastructure background
• Financing, lender coordination, and commercial structuring exposure
• PMI certification or equivalent
• Engineering degree (or strong PM track record in lieu)
