The Opportunity

A global energy platform undergoing rapid transformation is seeking a Regional Asset Manager to oversee performance, technical governance, and operational optimisation of a growing mobility and retail infrastructure portfolio across multiple international markets.

The position sits at the intersection of energy transition, electrified mobility, and distributed energy infrastructure, supporting the expansion and long-term performance of EV charging networks, solar-integrated retail assets, and downstream infrastructure platforms.

This is a regional role focused not only on delivery, but on ensuring assets operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with global standards throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Performance & Governance

  • Oversee operational and technical performance across a multi-country asset portfolio
  • Ensure assets meet safety, engineering, and operational standards
  • Monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and drive optimisation initiatives
  • Support affiliates in improving maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle management

Project & Portfolio Oversight

  • Review technical aspects of investment and development initiatives
  • Provide asset-focused input during design and execution phases
  • Challenge deployment strategies to improve long-term asset value and efficiency
  • Ensure consistency in processes, tools, and operating standards across markets

Operational Excellence & Capability Building

  • Act as regional reference point for asset management best practices
  • Support training and knowledge-sharing across affiliates
  • Implement benchmarking and lessons-learned programs
  • Strengthen asset management capabilities within local teams

Scope & Scale

  • Regional responsibility across Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa
  • Thousands of operating retail and mobility assets
  • Large multi-year capital deployment supporting energy transition growth

Requirements

  • Engineering or technical degree preferred
  • Experience in asset management, infrastructure operations, mobility, energy, or retail networks
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle asset performance and maintenance environments
  • Regional or multicultural stakeholder management experience
  • Familiarity with maintenance or asset management systems advantageous
  • Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial
