Mid-Level Finance Associate (5-8 PQE)
We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Mid-Level Finance Associate to join the Singapore office of a leading U.S. law firm. The ideal candidate will be a UK or Singapore-qualified lawyer with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in finance law.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value cross-border transactions for a diverse client base, including major financial institutions, corporations, and private equity firms. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute a wide range of finance transactions, including acquisition finance, project finance, leveraged finance, and general corporate lending.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex finance and security documents.
- Conduct legal due diligence and provide strategic advice to clients on transaction structuring and legal risks.
- Work collaboratively with partners and senior associates across a global network of offices.
- Assist in business development and client relationship management.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer in the UK or Singapore.
- 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable international or leading domestic law firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in banking & finance law is essential;
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
