Job description

Formative Search is working closely with a company that stands at the forefront of energy market forecasting, analysis, and consultancy. They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Associate to drive their sales efforts and nurture client relationships. This role involves leveraging an in-depth knowledge of the products and the market to meet consumer needs, actively generating leads, and enhancing customer engagement through effective account management.
 
Core Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales by identifying and developing opportunities, understanding consumer requirements, and aligning our solutions to meet those needs.
  • Cultivate and expand our customer base through strategic lead generation and nurturing existing relationships for repeat business.
  • Maximize account growth through targeted cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
  • Engage potential and existing customers with compelling pitches and proposals.
  • Manage negotiations and finalize deals with structured offerings.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to streamline sales processes and maintain high standards across all sales stages.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and high engagement levels through proactive account management.
  • Participate in product development initiatives and enhancement of current offerings.
  • Assist in creating new marketing materials as required.
  • Optionally, contribute to market research and analysis, depending on skills and interests.
 
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, account management, or a client success role.
  • A strong commercial acumen with a knack for identifying impactful opportunities.
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding commercial targets in a team setting.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams.
  • Interest in the energy transition is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Proficiency in Korean is advantageous.
