Business Development Director (New Energies/Renewables), Fortune 500 Company
Formative Search is privileged to be partnering with one of the world’s leading Energy & Utilities Fortune 500 company. With an ambition to scale up their presence and projects in Southeast Asia (SEA), Middle East and Asia Pacific (APAC), they are seeking to hire a Business Development Director to cover in either of these markets – APAC/SEA/Middle East to achieve their sustainability targets by 2025.
In this exciting Business Development Director (New Energies), your main role is to drive and lead the Renewable Energy greenfield development in either Southeast Asia (SEA), Middle East and Asia Pacific (APAC) and develop and build more than 2GW of Renewable assets by 2025, with a healthy pipeline to go into the decade and beyond and lead the execution of business plan to expand.
The focus on the Renewable projects would be including (but not limited to) solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, energy storage assets/projects. You are expected to originate potential M&A and/or greenfield opportunities with strong technical, commercial understanding of Renewables working across multiple stakeholders (e.g., bankers, advisors, regulators).
As a senior professional, you are culturally adaptable to build effective and long-term network and working relationships in various countries.
Requirements
You have 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years of experience in utility scale Renewable energy projects (including but not limited solar onshore wind, offshore wind, energy storage) sector of SEA, or Middle East or APAC market.
