Formative Search is working with a company that provides battery recycling technology to battery manufacturers and OEM companies. Their mission is to solve an ongoing issue with single use battery, which results in damaging the environment and depletes metal resources. They are looking for a global business development manager to be a part of their team in Singapore. Someone who shares their mission and is capable to expand their brand globally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing existing and new business opportunities, involving
lithium-ion
battery,
black mass, metals,
and active materials
with key target customers.
Support the team to progress with the objective of qualifying recycled materials within cell manufacturers and OEMs
Coordinating,
build,
and managing quality relationships, with the client
Overseeing and supporting a growing team of sales account managers
Manage the
RFQ
process
and preparation of bids for new business
Supporting pricing negotiations for current & future business opportunities
Work
with legal team
to present and negotiate contract
Supporting commercial and finance departments when necessary for order processing and overdue invoices
Managing the commercial account and quoting running changes in accordance with
standards
Participate in shaping strategy through knowledge of customer and market trends, plans and opportunities
Contributing to the annual budgeting and long-term forecasting, personal input to guide the business on anticipated customer volumes
Providing weekly
updates/reports/feedback on responsible area activity, plans and projections to management
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Successful track record of securing strategic sales of engineered systems or components to automotive OEM’s
Experience with battery materials industry
Self-motivated with entrepreneur mindset
Hands-on, detailed oriented leader who promotes a lean culture oriented towards action
Proficient in all forms of Microsoft office products
Ability to react to adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
Well-presented individual with strong
interpersonal skills
Experienced negotiator
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an occasionally high-pressure environment
Ability to travel internationally as required
