Business Development (New Energies), Multi-National Company, Mid-Downstream Energy Player
Formative Search is privileged to be partnering a multi-national energy company in the mid-downstream value chain. They are seeking for a commercially minded Business Development (New Energies) individual as part of their decarbonization plans.
Reporting to the Commercial Lead, your main responsibility as a Business Development (New Energies) would be to identify and initiate project-based capital investment proposals and engage in new business development projects (greenfield/brownfield) M&A into the new energies space including but not limited to Hydrogen, CCS, CCUS, Battery storage, etc.
You will be part of division strategy team to conduct pre-feasibility studies and run pilot test projects on some of these new energies ventures as part of the firm’s decarbonization plans.
In addition, you will be involved in strategizing and proposing to senior management the roadmap of your decarbonization strategies, delivering investment proposals to the board whilst leading discussion with key partners to support MOUs and LOIs and Joint-Venture agreements.
You have at least 5-7 years of Business Development / Origination experience in New Energies ideally, possessing strong financial modelling skills.
A team player, you enjoy originating new deals and engaging in proposals in new energies/energy sector, passionate in the new energies/decarbonization space.
