Commercial Manager (Hydrogen), Renewable Energy Producer
Formative Search is partnering exclusively with an established Renewable Energy producer and the firm is seeking for Commercial Manager (Hydrogen). This role will play a significant role in the firm’s push towards green hydrogen production and scaling up their green hydrogen ambition.
Reporting to the Chief of Commercial & Strategy for Hydrogen, one of your major responsibilities is the negotiation of key commercial agreements (including but not limited to land, water, power, network access, and financing) with various internal and external stakeholders. These may also include the negotiation of joint venture terms and executing these multiple commercial agreements with potential project partners to commercialize these hydrogen projects.
In addition, you would be structuring these commercial agreements, ensure the economic viability of these projects, due diligence and navigating and influencing stakeholders at all levels from both a financial and legal perspective.
Your key role here is to ensure the successful execution of the green hydrogen project development.
You have at least 10 years of business development or origination experience with solid negotiation capabilities and commercial acumen to lead and execute the project development of green hydrogen.
Ideally, you have the gravitas and experience managing a diverse stakeholder set from an Oil & Gas background or Renewable Energy background, comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and a strong solution-driven problem solver.
This role will be based in Australia.
