Formative Search is partnering with a renewable energy infrastructure development company with strong local presence throughout the Asia Pacific region. They are a fully integrated renewable platform that works primarily in the development, funding, construction, and operation of large-scale energy projects.
Located in Australia, we are looking for a Commercial Manager (Solar) responsible for the budget and keep on top of all the costs involved in large-scale construction projects. They source the services and resources needed, negotiating costs with other suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Lead, and provide support to ensure that proper contractual terms are negotiated with clients and subcontractors
Revise and renew Master Services Agreements (MSA) and similar contracts
Ensure contract terms are captured with advice from the legal department in alignment with the company and clients' needs
Ensure that project contracts have preferred contractual protections and that standard terms are used where possible
Manage key commercial risks by providing advice and support on contract development and management issues
Provides feedback and manage project contract terms in alignment with company policies and commercial objectives
Analyse and assess commercial contract terms and conditions
Support the Project Manager in line with project and customer requirements
Implement best practices in the management of contracts and commercial transactions
Utilizing MSAs and other standing agreements with clients as needed
