Commercial Sales & M&A (Oil & Gas + New Energies)
Formative Search is privileged to be partnering a multi-billion-dollar energy player. They are seeking for a commercially minded individual to engage in B2B commercial sales for the firm’s ancillary products and services in the Oil & Gas industry, and double hatting in M&A and origination of projects in the new energies space.
Reporting to the Head of Desk, your main responsibility as a Commercial Sales (B2B) individual is to understand the customer’s requirements, identify target markets and clients, negotiating and drafting proposals and executing marketing/sales plans to expand the firm’s market share.
Besides the commercial B2B sales responsibilities, you are to originate and generate pipeline of new energies projects as part of the firm’s decarbonization plans. You will be presenting viable investment projects for evaluation by senior management, delivering from investment proposals to the Executive Board, to approval and FID stage. You are to identify potential acquisition and JV partners, supporting legal M&A documents such as NDA's, LOI's, joint-venture agreements and supporting the M&A due diligence process.
Requirements
You have at least 3-5 years of M&A and originating new projects in the new energies industry, with commercial B2B sales experience would be a huge plus. Candidates in the traditional energy space with M&A experience or Corporate B2B sales in traditional energy space are welcome to apply.
