Formative Search is currently working with a global infrastructure company that is experiencing significant growth across the APAC region. They are currently looking for a Corporate Development Manager within the business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize JV/Acquisition/M&A transactions to align with the company strategy and goals
- Develop and implement sourcing and investment strategies with the Development and Finance teams
- Identify and implement suitable funding solutions with appropriate funding partners
- Conduct due diligence for acquisition, including review of documents relating to finance, legal, technical, and commercial documentations
- Develop financial projections for potential opportunities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, financial modelling, and valuation analysis for potential transactions
- Attend various senior management meetings
- Ensure that the integration plans for Joint Ventures, Site Acquisitions, and M&As are being executed as planned
- Implement initiatives to capture market opportunities, reduce risks and vulnerabilities, and maximize core business strengths
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop and implement asset and portfolio-based capital optimization strategies globally
- Support the senior leadership team in driving growth initiatives
- Utilize relationships and networks to identify potential markets and targets
- Coordinate teamwork across the entire process
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance/Transaction Services/Investment/Banking/Consulting
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Capable of managing multiple priorities within a short time frame given aggressive deadlines
- Ability to think flexibly and drive implementations
- Desire to learn about the dynamics and trends of digital infrastructure
- Ability to adapt & change in a fast-paced environment and results-driven
- Highly organized and structured, logical and lateral thinking skills
- Effective team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to influence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
