Formative Search has partnered with a global leader in the energy sector. They are seeking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join their team in Ahmedabad, India. You will play a key role in assisting the financial operations for their renewable energy projects. There will be an opportunity to travel for this role.What you will be doing?:
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the financial viability of renewable energy projects, considering various scenarios and risk factors.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support investment decisions and optimize project returns.
- Evaluate potential renewable energy investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and recommend strategic financial decisions for project financing.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including executive summaries and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans and strategies for renewable energy initiatives.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making at both project and corporate levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in corporate finance, M&A, or transactions advisory, focusing on the renewable energy sector.
- Preferable with a background from local Indian banks, deals/transactions advisory or renewable energy developers.
- Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in using financial analysis tools.
- Knowledge of project finance principles and experience in evaluating renewable energy project investments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of financing and loans.
