Country Manager / Business Development (Renewable Energy – Vietnam / Thailand), Fortune 500 Company
Formative Search is privileged to be partnering with one of the world’s leading Energy & Utilities Fortune 500 company. With an ambition to scale up their presence and projects in Southeast Asia (SEA), particularly in Vietnam and Thailand. The firm is seeking to hire a Business Development individual to originate Renewable energy projects in either Vietnam/Thailand to achieve their sustainability targets by 2025.
In this exciting Business Development role, your main role is to drive and lead the Renewable Energy greenfield development in either Southeast Asia (SEA), particularly in Vietnam or Thailand, with a healthy pipeline to go into the decade and beyond and lead the execution of Renewable Energy projects. The focus on the Renewable projects would be including (but not limited to) solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, energy storage assets/projects.
You are expected to originate potential M&A and/or greenfield opportunities with strong technical, commercial understanding of Renewables working across multiple stakeholders (e.g., bankers, advisors, regulators).
As an experienced professional and country specialist in the Vietnam/Thailand markets, you are culturally adaptable to build effective and long-term network and working relationships in various countries.
Requirements
You have 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years of experience in utility scale Renewable energy projects ( including but not limited solar onshore wind, offshore wind, energy storage) sector of SEA.
