Formative Search is working with a company that provides battery recycling technology to battery manufacturers and OEM companies. Their mission is to solve an ongoing issue with single use battery, which results in damaging the environment and depletes metal resources. They are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer:
Responsibilities
- Implement circuit design according to international electrical standards
- Prepare circuit diagram for wiring execution
- Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM) and I/O List
- Design electrical drawings by computer drawing software
- Review electrical designs to aid in machine code documentation and development
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment/instrument selection
- Participate in control system design and on-site troubleshooting
Required Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of electrical design experience
- Knowledge of programming AutoCAD, C++, Python, SQL
- Understand Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID)
- Onsite commissioning and fixed plant maintenance experience
- Experience in understanding and using Control Systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS etc.)
- Ability to travel internationally as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
