Formative Search is partnering up with a US based Maritime company and they are looking for a Engineer, Sustainability to join them in Singapore. The Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for supporting the sustainability team on GHG emissions for marine and offshore vessels and to be associated with other sustainability projects. It will include statistical analysis and sustainability reporting.
What will the Engineer, Sustainability does?
To be aware of the regulations related to GHG emissions.
Support the different projects, services, and other activities within the department.
Interact with clients to perform consulting services on solving problems related to technical aspect.
Establish and manage client projects.
To update and inform the Sustainability team on regulatory changes and impacts on the Company's business.
To report and ensure data is accurately recorded and managed within the company’s CRM.
What will the Engineer, Sustainability looks like?
Minimum 4 years of related engineering experience in a research institute, shipyard, design/consulting office, shipping/oil company, or a classification society.
Experience with either marine or offshore applications.
Knowledge of GHG Regulations, impacts, and technology transition.
Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, specifications, rules, and regulations
Able to demonstrate problem solving skills and is a team player.
Good communication skills as working with clients
