Formative Search is currently working with a large multi-business corporation based in Singapore that is expanding rapidly into the Renewable Energy sector.
They are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team and lead on the design and execution of utility scale solar projects across the APAC region. The successful candidate must have a track record of completing large scale solar projects.
Job Description
Lead engineering and design of grid connected solar PV systems
Manage proposals and the bid/award process
Produce pre-conceptual designs with production estimates
Review structural, geotechnical, environmental, permitting, and zoning challenges
Review engineering designs, modeling, and performance data,
Provide engineering support during the construction process.
Maintain design and proposal requirements, knowledge of codes and standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required
At least 5 years of experience with Solar Power projects
Working knowledge of Solar PV design is a must
Prior experience with at least 1 full-cycle utility scale solar power project.
Proficiency with PVsyst, Homer, PVPlanner, SAM and AutoCAD
