Our client is one of the world’s biggest maritime organizations who has an ambitious vision to expand its influence in Sustainability. They approached Formative Search to look for an ESG & Sustainability Manager to:
Responsibility:
Support the development of ESG propositions for the maritime sector
Collecting and analyzing data to promote an understanding of the events that impact ESG considerations in the maritime sector
Conduct research into the latest trends, frameworks, and standards in sustainability/ESG to enhance understanding of emerging focus areas in maritime sustainability
Prepare short briefing reports based on the latest market developments and strategic trends in maritime and broader ESG
Product development in line with industry regulations
Promoting the development of ESG in maritime at targeted industry events
Work closely with the customer engagement and operations teams worldwide
Establish relationships with customers and develop new business positioning initiatives to support ESG's growth strategy
Analyse and target relevant customer sectors
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of environment-related experience
A strong understanding of global sustainability/ESG frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory developments
An understanding of relevant maritime environmental regulations
Excellent analytical and data management skills including use of Excel and Tableau
Good writing skills with ability to synthesize data and ideas into impactful presentations
Strong organization and planning skills/ project management skills, with a strong ability to multitask
Comfortable with managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders
