Formative Search is partnering up with one of the largest global renewable energy company who are looking to expand their team in Manila, Philippines. You will play a key role in assisting with the full spectrum of financial accounting recording and reporting for the regional offices, coordinating with other countries in Asia. You will be reporting to the Credit/Finance Ops Lead in the Philippines and have an opportunity to manage a small team.
What will you be doing?:
- Prepare and record accounting entries in the Business ERP
- Submit monthly schedules and report to regional finance teams from other countries
- Support and ensure other entities across Asia fulfilled their statutory requirement
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities monthly and report to regional finance teams
- Ensure inter-company and intra-group transactions are booked and reconciled timely
- Ensure finance governance compliance with local rules and regulations and financial reporting standards
- Involve and support regional finance projects and initiatives
- Take charge of several entities' full set accounts within Asia
- Stakeholder management and Asia management reporting
- Degree in accounting/finance
- Professional qualification (e.g. CPA) is preferred
- At least 7 years of relevant working experience in multi-national companies
- Prior Big 4 accounting firm experience is an added advantage
- Knowledge of local GAAP and tax requirements in other countries in Asia is an added advantage
- Experience with renewable energy business is preferred
- Prior experience with Asia coverage across different countries
- Ability to work independently as well as with the Team and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Good analytical and communication skills are required as well as advanced skills in stakeholder relations
- Good verbal and written proficiency in English
- Proactive, driven, vigilant and resilient
- Able to adhere to strict reporting timelines with good quality of deliverables
