Job description

We are partnering with a leading manufacturer of batteries, specializing in providing cutting-edge solutions for residential, industrial, and utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) applications. Our client is looking for a Regional Business Development Manager (SEA) who will be responsible for driving the market expansion of the business. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence in the designated region for residential, industrial, and utility-scale BESS applications.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, OEMs, EPCs, and end-users.
  • Promote the company's battery products and solutions, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Work closely with the technical and marketing teams to develop and deliver customized solutions to meet client needs.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for senior management.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the the renewables industry (battery or energy storage industry would be a bonus).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region as required.
