Formative Search has partnered with a Renewable Energy developer who is solidly expanding across Asia Pacific.
As the company's Head of Business Development, he/she is responsible for developing new business opportunities, assisting in the deployment of capital, and creating potential partnerships.
Key Accountabilities:
Contribute to the development of local business development strategies
Creating new business opportunities through lead origination and transactional processes
Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, joint development and acquisition opportunities
Managing and negotiating key contracts for key projects
Construct a financial model for investment and negotiation
Develop collaborative and active relationships with external stakeholders
Keeping up with regulatory and legal frameworks for solar projects, both existing and new
Requirements:
Minimum five years' experience in renewable energy sectors, particularly solar, with a degree in finance or related fields
A strong track record of managing transactions, negotiations, financial modeling, and due diligence
Knowledge of local legal and regulatory frameworks related to renewable energy
