Formative Search is working closely with one of most successful international companies in providing renewable energy solutions to corporate and industrial customers. Asia is continuing to be a key market for them, and we're hiring a Head of C&I Solar to grow their Corporate PPA business in Japan, based from Tokyo.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Analyze the different markets in Japan, whilst developing and implement a sales and marketing strategy for entering the C&I segment in the country.
Use your own network and develop a company network in Japan to source, evaluate and negotiate C&I solar PV projects.
Standardize and negotiate project sales, EPC contracts and lease/Power purchase agreements (PPA contracts).
Establish partnerships and JV with developers, EPC companies, Real Estate companies or any other company that could accelerate sourcing pipeline of C&I projects.
Set and continually manage project forecasts with team members and other stakeholders.
Requirements :
BS in Engineering, Business or Economics is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
7 years’ experience minimum in solar PV preferable.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to give persuasive presentations.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments
Strong network of C&I players and government agencies in Japan.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong ability to explain complex technical topics and systems.
Proven ability to work and excel in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment and to perform multiple roles and functions simultaneously.
Experience working for an international organization strongly preferred.
Fluent in Japanese & English.
