Head of Project Development
Project Development:
Lead and supervise project development activities from pre-development to Financial Close
Secure land and grid connection rights, permits, authorizations, and stakeholder support
Design and implement efficient development processes and methodologies
Manage relationships with stakeholders and appoint and manage consultants for studies and surveys
Develop risk mitigation strategies and proactively address issues
Secure project sites for renewable energy projects through acquisition, lease, or partnerships
Negotiate and manage land agreements and all associated documents
Manage relationships with landowners, registry of deeds / land registration authority, Department of Agrarian Reform, local government, and consultants
Secure transmission line right-of-way and easements up to the grid connection point
Conduct site identification and selection research for new large-scale renewable energy projects
Develop risk mitigation strategies for land acquisition
Required skills and experience:
8-15 years of experience in wind and solar PV project development management and land acquisition
Ability to create and maintain project budgets and timelines in project management software
Sound understanding of permitting requirements and land considerations in the Philippines
Proven ability to successfully close land acquisition and project development transactions
Excellent network among government institutions, renewable energy companies, and landowners
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and contract negotiation skills
Financial modelling skills are a plus
Able to travel nationally as required
