Investment Associate, Renewable Energy Developer & Investor
Formative Search is partnering with an established Renewable Energy Developer & Investor focused into Asia. They are seeking for an Investment Associate as part of the team’s expansion into (but not limited to) hydro, geothermal, solar and wind projects.
As a valuable member of the investment team, your main responsibility is to source & originate prospective renewable energy projects in line with the firm’s strategy, whilst performing the necessary due diligence on these projects with strong financial modelling skills.
Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in the submission of these investment proposals to the Investment Committee for approval, whilst negotiating key commercial terms, PPAs, financing agreements and managing these relationships to ensure smooth execution and project delivery.
Requirements
You have 3-5 years of experience as an investment analyst/associate within the infrastructure space from a PE fund/IB/Investment/Corp Finance experience from the Big 4 or investment experience from another energy developer.
Strong excel and financial modelling skills is a must, you are a team player, capable to working independently and willing to travel to visit the renewable energy project sites. This role will be based in Singapore.
