Job description
We are currently working with a leading global financial services company looking for a junior / mid-level lawyer to join their financing and commodities markets team. Excellent team and company culture, great internal growth opportunity and support from an experienced team - this will be a good first move in-house for junior lawyers, and a way to gain excellent and diverse exposure to large regional transactions for candidates already in-house in the industry.
Coverage:
Provide support to the above mentioned teams on general legal and risk aspects of their businesses, covering both financial and physical commodities
Review, draft and negotiate a variety of legal documents - including trade finance transactions and derivatives documentation
Manage and control quality and cost of outside counsel
Requirements:
2-6 years experience with a reputable law firm or with a financial institution / trading house
Qualified lawyer (SG, UK, US, AUZ)
Experience in general corporate, finance and derivatives documentation
Sharp communicator and good interpersonal skills
