Job description
Formative Search has partnered upwith a prominent infrastructure fund management company in the renewables and greenfield segments. They are growing their team in Asia and looking for a Project Director in Bangkok, Thailand.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the project’s lifecycles and make recommendations for organisational strategy.
Cooperate with
third-party consultants in legal and technical for contracts and deliverables.
Establish strong relationships with joint venture partners to ensure full transparency and support the company to negotiate and clarify understandings between parties.
Manage permit processes and take care of relationships with local government, community, and land regulatory boards.
Perform due diligence on relevant project information and documentation to identify deviations between approved cases and actual on-the-ground developments.
Identify and negotiate any offtake opportunities for the projects
and arrange PPA agreements.
Discover new talents and grow the team to reach objectives.
The Ideal Profile:
A
bachelor’s
degree in commercial, legal,
engineering,
or other related subjects.
Min. 10 years of project management of renewable projects, wind project experience will be preferred.
Fluent in English and Thai languages
Have existing relationships with
electricity authority
and relevant
Engineering, Procurement and Construction
partners
in Thailand
is preferred.
Strong skills
in project leadership, stakeholder management, communications, organization, team building and operational execution.
Flexibility to visit projects in other Asian countries and Europe occasionally.
