Biofuels Originator/Biofuels Business Development, Integrated Energy Trading House
Formative Search is privileged to be partnering with an integrated energy trading company transiting into the low carbon/renewable fuels space as part of their decarbonization plans. Having a short in Europe for biofuels, they are seeking for a Biofuels Originator to originate on the lengths in Asia, complement their shorts not limited to Joint Ventures (JVs), Partnerships, or via Greenfield and Brownfield projects to enable third party biofuels trading.
As a biofuels originator/business developer, you are to identify new opportunities, ideas and strategic partnership model in the upstream/midstream or downstream value chain to enhance commercial trading of the biofuels desk and meeting the customers’ energy solutions. These also includes but not limited to identifying new supplies or offtakes of low carbon fuels, blending, storage leasing, investments and develop route-to-market of low carbon fuels/ renewable fuels.
Ideally, you are well versed in the ISCC standards to ensure the compliance of these fuels standards.
Requirements
You are an experienced Biofuels Origination or Biofuels Business Development professional with a good network.
This role is based in Singapore.
