Senior Carbon Trader, Ambitious Trading House
Formative Search is partnering with an ambitious boutique trading house seeking for a Senior Carbon Trader to kickstart a Carbon Trading (prop) desk as part of their expansion plans.
As an experienced trader in Carbon trading, you are responsible in the proprietary trading of Carbon Credits including but not limited to GOs, RGGOs, RECs, and other voluntary carbon/environmental products.
In addition, as the firm is in commodities trading industry, you may leverage their existing network/access to offtake the carbon credits on the supply side for trading, gain access to some of their existing customers to market and trade these carbon credits into their existing clientele, originate and grow the existing base of carbon credit supply and demand side through entrepreneurial means.
You will be responsible for analysing the markets/region, develop appropriate trading strategies within the carbon market and managing the capital allocation of your trading positions to maximise your P&L.
Requirements
You are an experienced/ Senior Carbon trader capable of starting a new Carbon Trading desk. A disciplined trader, you are confident in working independently, possessing a sound P&L trading track record.
This platform will offer the incumbent a transparent P&L bonus structure that commensurate according to trading performance, within certain risk limit guidelines.
