Job description
We are working with a climate technology company who are constantly expanding across the APAC region. They are looking for the role of the Senior Edge Connectivity Engineer:
Responsibilities
- Provide site deployment and provisioning of Edge devices
- Provisioning of sensor devices connectivity to the Edge
- Provisioning of Edge devices connectivity to the Cloud
- Provisioning of IT system connectivity to the Cloud
- Provide connectivity specifications and solutions
- Perform data validation to ensure good data quality
- Provide project and engineering documentation
- Provide hands-on training to external customers
- Provide technical support to pre-sales and the team
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant qualifications
- 5 – 10 years of experience in industrial connectivity
- Strong experience in IoT & OT protocols
- Strong experience in networking setups
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Java, Python
- Professional certification (CCNA/CCNP) will be an added advantage
- Ability to travel when required
