Formative Search is working with a leading player in the renewable energy industry, focusing on solar power projects in Taiwan. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects in Taiwan. What you will be doing:
Conduct site visits and prepare complete technical offers, including BOQ, cost estimation, and drawings.
Support the Business Development team in pre-bid and post-bid discussions, resolving technical queries.
Prepare technical specifications and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors.
Create in-house drawings, layouts, and schedules.
Coordinate with stakeholders for drawing approval and query resolution.
Collaborate with teams for timely project commissioning.
Review vendor design drawings and documents.
Resolve technical queries and visit sites as needed.
Maintain project engineering records.
Supervise the design team and ensure work plans meet project requirements.
What the successful candidate would look like:
Minimum of 6+ years of electrical design experience in solar projects, specifically in ground mount and/or rooftop projects, with at least one year of site execution experience.
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E-Electrical.
Solid experience in designing ground mount and/or rooftop solar power plants.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Helioscope, PvSyst, MS Office, and familiarity with other engineering tools/software is advantageous.
Vendor management experience.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of profit and value drivers.
