Job description
Formative Search has been mandated on a new search for a Senior Project Manager with a prominent renewable energy developer in a mission to advance the energy transition towards NetZero across the Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the operations of renewable energy initiatives in all phases to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget.
Build local teams of consultants and contractors and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the projects’ delivery efficiency.
Create and manage project budgets and timelines during the development and construction phase.
Make risk assessments and mitigation plans to ensure the engineering and construction aspects are safe with high quality in the wind and solar power generation facilities.
Facilitate the implementation of systems to forecast key milestones and maximize safety, quality and efficiency in construction and engineering activities.
Seek investment from banks and financial institutions for the funding of projects during the development phase.
Key Requirements:
A degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management or a similar discipline with over 15 years of work experience in managing large projects for the renewable energy sectors.
Strong advocate of Welfare, Health, Safety and Environment compliance with a great leadership style.
Skill in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Have a broad network of government agencies, EPC providers and local developers in the Philippines.
Able to travel extensively across the Philippines when required.
