Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) Lead, Energy Trading Company
Formative Search is privileged to be partnering with an energy trading company seeking for a SAF lead as part of their low carbon solutions offering with shorts across various continents.
As a SAF lead reporting directly to the Head of Energy Trading, you are responsible for the execution of go-to-market strategy of SAF to commercial energy.
Ideally, you possess experience in storage, handling, blending, and transporting of SAF feedstock and Renewable Diesel, with sound understanding of the nature of these feedstock markets, certification (e.g., ISCC), regulatory schemes and environmental credits in key countries of origin and markets.
You are to develop strategic accounts and sales leadership for Europe, Asia, and the Americas to develop volume and margin growth across identified key markets and customer segments. One of your key responsibilities include securing long-term supply offtake agreements with clients in key growth market and forecasting market demand to optimise placement volume into identified markets to maximise returns and lead various project team management initiatives for market partnership, JVs, M&A, etc to fulfil market shorts and/or develop supply offtakes.
Requirements
You are an experienced SAF/biofuel professional with excellent understanding of the global regulatory environment for feedstocks, biofuels and waste management legislations in core markets in Europe, North America, and Asia. In addition, you possess sound understanding on how value is created in the biofuels business for supply chain optimisation and profit maximisation.
