To make a permanent hire or recruit a contract employee? These are just two of several options available to your firm when considering taking on new talent. Permanent hires are, of course, a long-term investment in the furthering of your business, but there are times when a contract hire is a better alternative. When you require a specific skillset for a project, or when you need to make a quick but low-risk, temporary addition to the company workforce. We've written previously about why contract recruitment is an attractive option; here we explain exactly how you can contract recruit with us and what it entails.

The Hiring Process: The hiring process is exactly the same as when hiring for permanent positions. When you engage our services, we help you search for a suitable candidate, fuss-free. No complicated new processes to undertake!

How They are Employed: The difference between contract and permanent hiring is that the employee will be our permanent employees instead of your permanent employee. Their monthly salary is still paid by you, but through us as an agency. And instead of a hefty one-time service fee, your business need only pay us a nominal fee every month for the duration of the candidate's contract period. This arrangement reduces the cost to your company, and also minimises the responsibility risks for the business since we, as the employers of the candidate, will cover the necessary miscellaneous costs for you.

What we cover: Formative Search looks after associated, miscellaneous such as Insurance (Workers Compensation Insurance, Professional Umbrella Insurance, Health and Hospitalization Insurance), Payroll Taxes and other Statutory Requirements, leaving you to focus on the important things, such as meeting business objectives.

Flexibility: You won't be obligated to the contract employee in any way. If you are impressed by their skills and wish to convert them to a full-time position, this can be easily done through us. If not, you can just move on at the end of your contractual agreement, with absolutely no strings attached.
